Icy Strait/Hoonah, Alaska - Wednesday, June 9th

Icy Strait Point was the home of the Hoonah Packing Company, a huge salmon packing company

during most of the 1900s. The buildings are now restored for public visitation. The actual city of Hoonah

is about one mile around the bend and is home to the Alaska's largest Tlingit (native Alaskan) village.
