First stop, Vancouver. Lots of construction with the Winter Olympics there next year.

Arrived in Vancouver on Thursday, June 4th. The cruise left on Friday evening, June 5th.

Lots of interesting places to see, but we only had one day to do limited sightseeing.

At a totem pole park in Vancouver, I told Gloria to pose like a totem pole,

but she looked like she posed more like an Egyptian!

Heading to Vancouver: Mt. Rainier near Seattle

Granville Market, under one of the bridges; a popular tourist and shopping area.

People living across the river would take water taxis to shop at the Farmers Market for food and produce.
