Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is the property on the right where we have our timeshare. All units have an ocean view. The
units at the very top of the hill that wind back and forth are condos and not part of the timeshare property. The smaller
property on the left is Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Holistic Retreat & Spa, a smaller, but a little more upscale property that is
not as family oriented as other Pueblo Bonito properties. Cabo San Lucas in on the very tip of the Baja Peninsula. This side
is the Pacific side, where the water is rougher and not swimmer-friendly. The Sea of Cortez side is warmer, calmer water
and is the side where all the beach activities, shopping, boating and partying activities are located. We prefer this side
of the peninsula, where it is more relaxing and we have four pools to choose from as well as just relaxing on the beach.
An aerial view of Cabo San Lucas. Here you can see the peninsula that separates the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez.
Note the cruise ships in the Sea of Cortez. Our property, Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is about four miles from the marina.
Surrounding the marina is numerous restaurants, shopping areas (including an upscale mall) and more. There are probably
15-20 major hotel properties on this page, plus along the 20 mile stretch from Cabo San Lucas to San Jose Cabo (where the
airport is), there are another 25-30 major hotels. Several golf courses are along this stretch. Pueblo Bonito is currently building
a 36 holes of golf next to the Sunset Beach property.
An aerial view of Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach - This is an old view and does not show the completion
of more units at the top along with another pool.

Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is on the Pacific side of Cabo where swimming in the ocean is not allowed.
Fortunately we had five pools to help keep us wet!

You had to grab a cabana early to have some shade

While relaxing on the beach, a whale passed by...unusual for that time of the year.

Gloria enjoyed the cabana; reading, drinking her wine and eating her popcorn...while waiting for happy hour to start.

In this sequence of shots, I didn't see the big wave coming. Luckily, Gloria kept snapping pictures!

Too much sun, so I had to cover up while I enjoyed the waves
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
My new teeth wanted to enjoy the beach, too!

This area next to our property is called the Pedregal and is where many of the rich live in Cabo
