We took an overnight train (sleeper car) from Venice to Paris, passing through Switzerland

When I made the reservation via an Italian web page, I didn't quite understand what I was checking. Apparently I checked

a "male only" sleeper for me and a "female only" sleeper for Gloria, thus the smile on her face.

We were able to make changes with others that allowed us to sleep together...thus the frown on her face.
