Pueblo Rose 2024

(Some of the pictures and info may be old. Lots of changes over the past 15 years. We were last there in 2018.)

Plenty of taxis at the airport.

Once we got our room we would usually taxi to Walmart (if we didn't rent a car) and stock up on food for the week.

There is a small store at Rose where you can get some food items, but much more expensive of course than Walmart.

We did do an all-inclusive a few times, but usually after getting a highly discounted rate.

I'll give you a few links at the end of this page for possible transportation.

Next to Rose is Pueblo Bonito Blanco (if it is still there). This Pueblo Bonito property was supposed to be demolished a few years ago.

Blanco has/had a nice restaurant overlooking the beach and lots of cabanas out front.

No lack of shopping and restaurants!

A few times we would walk along the beach to the marina, maybe stop for a drink along the way.

We would then maybe have lunch, shop around the marina and taxi back with our purchases!

Walmart SuperCenter maybe a mile from Rose. Too far to walk.

Also a few other stores surrounding Walmart.

Same for the Glass Factory where they blow glass figurines all day.

Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach (where we had our first timeshare, before the expansion).

There is a free Pueblo Bonito bus that goes back and forth between Rose and Sunset Beach (about a 20 minute ride) if you want to check it out.

This was taken from an ultralite flight I took probably 2008 or so.

You can't see it, but Pueblo Rose is back in the bay area to the left of the cruise ships.

Marina

Lots of cabanas in front of Rose and Blanco (if it is still open).

Also there are booths along the beach where you can rent jet skis, take a water taxi (possibly to the marina) and other excursion activities.

Restaurant at Blanco

The Cabo Arch. You can water taxi or jet ski out to get a better view. Next to it on the right is a small beach called Lovers Beach.

On the Rose side of Cabo and Lovers Beach - you are on the Sea of Cortez and the water is calm enought to enter and swim.

On the other side of the Arch is Divorce Beach - the Pacific side of Cabo where it is too rough to get in the ocean.

Lovers Beach

Dennis and I went deep sea fishing and he caught a 102" marlin.

Transportation to and from the airport.
