I submitted six DNA swabs from my cheeks (face cheeks, not butt cheeks) to AncestryByDna for three different tests.

DNA Test 1 tells you the percentage of your heritage based on four regions: European, Indigenous American, Sub-Saharan African and East Asian.

To my surprise, it shows 100% European and NO Indigenous American. If Grandpa Brown were full Indian, the Indigenous American for me should have been 25% in my opinion. If he were only half Indian, the Indigenous American for me should have been 12-13%. I emailed AncestryDNA and they verified this is true.

DNA Test 2 (Paternal Results) tells you your general ancestry based on the male lineage of your ancestors.

DNA Test 3 (Maternal Results) tells you your general ancestry based on the female lineage of your ancestors.

It may take a brainiac like Charlie to figure out what the hell everything means. In the meantime, I'll try to figure out the results the best I can.

If anyone needs to confirm these results, especially what we have all thought on Grandpa Brown and a possible Indian connection (Indigenous American), maybe a DNA test (DNA Test 1) using swabs from Aunt Bonnie and/or Aunt Betty would be valuable.

Note: I ordered DNA Test 1 on special for $99. Then when I went to their site (https://www.ancestrybydna.com/) and registered, they offered DNA Test 2 and DNA Test 3 for $50 each. But, I don't think anything more than DNA Test 1 is needed.
